Wayne, NJ - December 8, 2010 – International Specialty Products Inc. (“ISP”) has announced a 5% price increase for 1,4 Butanediol (BDO) and derivatives sold in North America, including N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), Gamma- Butyrolactone (BLO) and Tetrahydrofuran (THF), effective December 10, 2010 or as contracts allow. This increase is necessary to offset rising raw material and energy costs.
