SFDA makes arrangement on carrying out the action plan for cracking down on violations of IPR and the production and distribution of fake and shoddy products

In order to strengthen intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and maintain the fair and orderly market environment, the General Office of the State Council recently issued the Notice on Distributing Special Action Plan for Cracking Down on Violations of Intellectual Property Rights and the Production and Distribution of Fake and Shoddy Products, deciding to launch the nationwide special action from October 2010 to March 2011. To implement the requirements of the Notice and intensify crackdown on making and selling counterfeit or substandard drugs and disturbing drug production and distribution order, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) recently issued a notice to specify the targets, focuses, schedule and requirements of the special action.
