FDA approves Teva's generic Prevacid SoluTab ANDA

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted approval for the Company's Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) to market a generic version of Takeda's Prevacid® (lansoprazole) SoluTab. Shipment of this product has commenced.

Annual sales of the brand product were approximately $453 million in the United States, based on IMS sales data.
