International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) will increase global prices for its Jaypol and Rapifloc products lines 10% to 20% effective immediately, or as contracts allow. This price increase is necessary due to material and energy cost escalation since early 2009.

In addition, due to current acrylic acid (and derivative) shortages and market capacity constraints, short-term surcharges will be applied on certain lines to offset dramatic cost increases.

This increase applies to products sold into the personal care, performance chemicals and agricultural markets.
