SFDA and the Ministry of Health to take further actions to curb non-drug substance being simulated as drug

In order to crack down on the illegal activities of non-drug substance being simulated as drug and safeguard the public’s health, recently, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and the Ministry of Health jointly issued a notice on further taking actions to curb non-drug substance being simulated as drug, determining to intensively carry out the second phase actions on curbing non-drug substance being simulated as drug from June to the end of October this year.
The second phase actions will include continuous consolidation of the achievements in the first phase, tracing and investigation of the origins of discovered problems and serious punishment in accordance with laws. Special efforts shall be made to regulate the use of drugs in grassroots medical and health institutions and private medical institutions, regulate drug distribution and use and ensure drug safety for the public. |
