Wayne, N.J. – March 1, 2010 – International Specialty Products Inc. (“ISP”) has announced a global price increase for 1,4 Butanediol and derivatives, including: N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), 1-4 Butanediol (BDO), Tetrahydrofuran (THF), and Gamma- Butyrolactone (BLO).

The price increases are as follows, and will be effective March 1, 2010 or as contracts allow:

                                    North America:               US $0.10 per pound
                                    Europe:                             € 0.15 per kilogram
                                    Asia:                                 US $0.25 per kilogram

These price increases will allow us to continuously provide high quality products and service to our customers.
