Shanghai, China (June 3^rd 2020) –IMCD China, partof the IMCD Group, a global leading distributor of speciality chemicals andfood ingredients, has appointed Andreas Igerl, as Managing Director,effective as of October 1^st 2020.

In his role, Andreas will lead and furtherdrive the strategic growth ambitions of IMCD China, continue to expand positiveand trust-based relations with business partners and customers to furtherstrengthen IMCD China’s position and reputation in the world’s largest economy.

Andreas will be based at the IMCD officesin Shanghai and will be reporting to Haiko Zuidhoff, Vice President APAC.

Andreas is German and joined IMCD in 2019 as the Business Unit ManagerAdvanced Materials in Germany. He brings more than 10 years successful experiencein the Speciality Engineered Plastics Materials Industry and in-depthcommercial and leadership knowledge including the integration of acquisitionsand assignment in Europe and Asia. Andreas holds a Master’s degree in BusinessAdministration from the University of Applied Science for Economy andManagement in Munich.
