Dow Coating Materials Announces Epoxy Price Increases in North America

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dow Coating Materials will implement a price increase for certain epoxy products which will take effect January 15, 2010, or as contracts allow. The increases to $0.10 per lb. will affect the following products:
Epoxy Resin Price Increase – January 15, 2010
D.E.R.™ 300 Series Liquid Epoxy Resins, Liquid Blends, and Liquid Solutions
D.E.N.™ 400 Series Epoxy Novolac Resins
D.E.R.™ 600 Series Solid Epoxy Resins and Solid Solutions Epoxy Resins
D.E.R.™ 700 Series Glycol Epoxy Resins and Blends
D.E.H.™ Epoxy Curing Agents
All other terms and conditions of sales for these products remain unchanged.
In making the announcement, Joan Schuller, General Manager of Dow Coating Materials North America, cited continuing escalation in raw material costs as necessitating the increase.
