Recently, China Food and Drug Administration and the Office of China National Narcotics Control Commission jointly issued the National Drug Abuse Monitoring Annual Report (2013).

The annual report analyzes China's drug abuse monitoring situation in 2013; describes the abuse of heroin, synthetic drugs, medicinal drugs and the situation of newly occurring drug abusers; compares the monitoring data from 2009 to 2013 and presents the status quo, characteristics and trends of drug abuse in China.
