On October 17, 2013, Sun Xianze, Assistant Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), met with the delegation led by Mr. Marcin Kołakowski, Vice President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products of Poland. Sun Xianze introduced the main responsibilities and the institutional restructuring of CFDA, and the progress of drug supervision in recent years; listened to the introduction about the function of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products of Poland, and the drug regulatory system of Poland. Both sides exchanged opinions on the signing of Memorandum of Understanding in the field of drug and medical device supervision. Relevant directors of CFDA's Department of Science, Technology and Standards, Department of International Cooperation, Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission, and Center for Medical Device Evaluation attended the meeting.
