On the afternoon of August 28, 2013, Zhang Yong, Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), and Jiao Hong, Assistant Minister of CFDA, met with the delegation led by Astrid Krag, Danish Minister of Health, and Friis Arne Petersen, Danish Ambassador to China. Zhang Yong introduced the main responsibilities and the institutional restructuring of CFDA, and listened to the introduction about the function of Danish Ministry of Health. Both sides reached the intent of expanding and deepening exchanges and cooperation in the supervision of drugs and medical devices. Main directors of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation, Department of Drug & Cosmetics Registration and Department of Medical Device Registration attended the meeting.
