On the morning of July 2, 2013, Liu Peizhi, Vice Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) met with the delegation led by Martine Aubry, the French Foreign Minister's Special Representative for China Affairs, and Sylvie Bermann, French Ambassador to China. Both sides exchanged opinions on CFDA’s institutional restructuring and main responsibilities, China’s food and drug regulatory system and management mechanism, and discussed the mutual cooperation in the field of food safety supervision. Main directors of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation, Department of General Coordination, Department of Food Safety Supervision I, Department of Food Safety Supervision II, and Department of Food Safety Supervision III attended the meeting.
