On October 24, 2011, the Belgian delegation led by Mr. Steven Vanackere, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Institutional Reform of Belgium, visited the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA). Shao Mingli, Commissioner of SFDA, had a cordial and friendly conversation with Mr. Steven Vanackere. Both sides had an extensive and in-depth discussion on relevant laws and regulations on drug and medical device supervision and other issues of common interest. Main directors of SFDA’s Departments of International Cooperation, Department of Drug Registration, Department of Medical Device Supervision, and relevant directors of the Center for Drug Evaluation of SFDA were present at the meeting.
