SFDA issues notice on relevant issues on administrative licensing of health food

In order to standardize and strengthen the management of health food administrative licensing, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) recently issued a notice on relevant issues on the administrative licensing of health food in accordance with the Provisions for Health Food Registration (interim).
The notice shall come into effect as of September 1, 2011. The requirements of the notice shall prevail where previous requirements contradict with it.
